Stepped on your epoxy floor coating during the curing period? Here's how to fix it!
The curing period for epoxy floor coatings is a critical stage for film formation and hardening. During this time, foot traffic can easily leave footprints, indentations, or even damage the coating's integrity. Don't panic—handling the situation appropriately can minimize damage.

For minor footprints without coating damage, no immediate repair is needed. Once the floor is fully cured, gently sand the affected area with fine-grit sandpaper. Wipe away dust with a clean cloth, then apply a fresh coat of the same epoxy topcoat.
For noticeable indentations or peeling paint, first scrape away the damaged area and any loose paint around it. Thoroughly clean the substrate of dust, ensuring the surface is dry and free of grease. Then reapply epoxy primer and topcoat, paying attention to smooth edge transitions during repair.
A final reminder: Ensure the epoxy floor undergoes a sufficient curing period. During this time, set up barriers and warning signs to prevent accidental access by people or vehicles, thereby prolonging the floor's durability.
